omg okay this isn’t the best pun i’ve ever made but it’s the best response i’ve gotten for one
okay so when I was 9 I went to this bingo night and my gran won a raffle and she won a bottle of champagne so I ran up to get it for her and the person who gave it to me (who coincidentally was the vicar of the local church) was like “ooh be careful holding it” and I was like “oh don’t worry sir I can handle my liquor“ and whilst the people who didnt hear carried on chatting the nearby adults went rly quiet and one gave me this rly cold glare and then I realised it was bc I was 9 & making alcohol jokes and then the vicar leant in and whispered "if you knew your alcohols you would know that champagne isnt a liquor. nice try”
